sloppy joes:
-1 white onion, chopped.
-1 packet mccornick sloppy joe seasoning.
-1 can tomato soup.
-1 lb. ground beef.
-2 tablespoons (or so) of yellow mustard.
-buns
-cheese (if desired)
potato wedges:
-russet potatos
-salt and pepper to taste
-olive oil
preheat your oven to 425*f.
boil potatoes for 15 minutes.
drain, and let cool.
cut potatoes.
toss with light olive oil, salt, and pepper.
place on non-stick cookie sheet and bake for 35 minutes.
while the fries are baking, you can start cooking your ground beef.
once cooked, add white onion and brown.
once the white onion is translucent and beef is browned, stir in tomato soup and mustard.
lastly, add your sloppy joe seasoning, mix well, simmer for 5-10 minutes, and serve with potato wedges.
perfect! :)
Adding garlic, rosemary, thyme and parmesan to your potato wedges makes them super yummy!

ReplyDeleteGross! read the back of that tomato soup and the seasoning. Probably loaded with sodium and additives. Hmmm...the only thing it inspired is my thinking of how it can be made using healthier products (maybe Annie's tomato soup and a self-made concoction of seasoning)...
